Angela initially studied dance, mime, physical theatre and improvisation at a number of teachers and at LCDC 'The Place' and with Tmu Na Dance Theatre Company. She became a member of the Actors Centre in London, where she took regular classes in sight-reading, voice and Shakespeare text and then spent a year with an independent theatre training company, acting, singing, stage managing and co-devising a number of plays which successfully toured schools, churches, outside venues and historic homes.

Angela went on to study drama and acting at postgraduate level at Goldsmiths College and holds a Masters Degree in Theatre/Drama. She has also trained to advanced level in 'The Meisner Technique' with New York artistic director/teacher Scott Williams. ( The Impulse Company). Angela continues to expand her creative and learning horizons and more recently took part in the Film Acting Master Class weekend with the author and filmmaker Si Wall. Angela has a particular interest as well as experience in improvisation, comedy, and ensemble work. She has been cast in a role in Si Wall's film 'Drinking Chocolate' which is in pre production. This film hopes to raise awareness about the plight of homelessness.

Professional theatre experience includes multi acting/singing roles in touring productions in the UK and abroad of the Mystery Plays, 'The Passion' & 'Nativity', 'Roxanna' and the Greek comedy classic 'Lysistrata' as well as roles in many other plays and musical shows including a physical theatre production of ‘Everyman' and an original devised production of 'La Ronde'. Numerous further productions include 'A Month in the Country' at the Jermyn St Theatre, 'Emma Hamilton' at the Greenwich Museum, and roles in the18th century comedy farce 'The Way to Keep Him' and Russian play 'Stars in the Morning Sky' at the Chelsea Centre Theatre. Musical 'Saltairy Tales' at the Victoria Theatre in Yorkshire and performer/dancer with physical theatre company Tmu Na. She has also performed at the Barons Court Theatre with Theatre Collection in adaptations of "Invitation to a Beheading' and ''Cincinnatus' based on the work of Nabokov.

Film and TV experience includes a North Eastern Gas/Commercial, the Drama 'Tell Me Lies' for Granada TV, 'Dream Team' for Sky TV and a role in the BBC3 comedy show 'Uncle' and the comedy short film 'Dinner'.

Recent theatre includes playing Dolly Oblonsky in 'Anna Karenina' and Mrs Ivolgin in 'The Idiot' by Dostoevsky with Art-Vic Anglo Russian Theatre at Theatre Theatro Technis.

'Music in the soul can be heard by the universe' Lao Tzu

Angela Prince began to sing and play guitar whilst living in Germany in her teens. She performed in various wine bars, coffee houses and youth prisons and began writing songs and poems at this time. In London, Angela Prince gained recording studio experience, singing backing vocals for various new and established UK/ European artists, including the reggae artist Jimmy Cliff and sang regularly with rock/indie pop bands in various venues, bars and clubs in both in the UK and the US.

Angela was a finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest and has also performed her own original material at weddings, parties and acoustic music venues.

Gospel singing became a passion after attending gospel singing workshops with David Levale. This led to co-founding the gospel/inspirational choir 'Many Rivers' who went on to performing at a number of events and weddings including the KBB Awards, Birmingham.

As a children's entertainer, Angela has worked with 'Blueberry Playsongs', running regular music based classes for young children and singing and playing guitar at many private children's parties.

Angela Prince sings and performs with the renowned London based group 'Urban Voices Collective' and has had the privilege of singing with them at numerous profile stage & TV events and with many major artists. Events have included, The Olympic Closing Ceremony 2012, performing with stars such as Take That, George Michael. Muse and The Who; The Royal Variety Show with Gary Barlow; the Bafta Awards 2013, with Paloma Faith; the BMI Music Awards honouring Tim Rice at the Dorchester, an evening with film composer David Arnold at the Royal Festival Hall, The BBC Proms 2014 live concert with Paloma Faith at the Royal Albert Hall, VE Day Celebrations for the BBC with Alfie Boe, performing with Sigma and the street dance group Diversity and The Rugby World Cup Welcome Ceremony at the UK Foreign Office.

Corporate clients have included Standard Bank, KPMG, Jansen, Disney, MSD and Scottish Widows. Flashmob performances for Selfridges, ITV's 'Surprise Surprise' with Lionel Richie and for Marks & Spencer Newcastle as well as a recent flashmob at Euston Station to celebrate Virgin Train's 20th Birthday. Christmas performances; Selfridges, Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Bromley Intu Shopping Mall and H&M Store, Oxford Circus.

Charity concerts; fundraising events for Kidney Research UK at the Holy Trinity Church, S. Kensington, the Youth Sports Trust at the Savoy Hotel, Parkinson's UK with BBC newsreader Jane Hill at St Georges Cathedral, The Rainbow Trust, performances at the Moonwalk and Sunwalk Festivals at Battersea Park in aid of cancer charities and the charity single 'If I Ruled the World' for the Enough Food IF campaign at the Hyde Park Festival.

In November 2016, Angela sang with Urban Voices Collective at Twickenham Stadium, supporting the England Rugby Team for the Rugby International Old Mutual Wealth Series.

Angela is a full member of Equity, the actor/performers union and a member of the Musicians Union.
